Jason D. Lettelleir
Founder, Veritas Clinical Counseling
Clinical Counseling Intern
I work with adults who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy focuses on exploring the deeper forces shaping your relationships, your feelings, your choices, and your sense of direction.

We look honestly at what keeps you stuck. The habits, beliefs, defenses, and emotional cycles that may have once protected you but now limit you. But we also look at what brings you alive. What gives you meaning. What feels purposeful. What kind of life you want to build.

I bring a grounded and steady presence to this process. I am comfortable with complexity and emotional intensity, and I do not rush past difficult moments. When something important surfaces, we slow down and stay with it. Real change often happens there.

Therapy is not only about addressing what feels painful or broken. It is also about strengthening what is already there. As understanding deepens, people often find themselves responding to life differently and moving toward a life that feels fuller, clearer, and genuinely their own.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my fiancée and our dogs, staying physically active, reading, and continuing to learn. I believe personal growth is a lifelong process, and I strive to live according to the same values I encourage in therapy: curiosity, honesty, and intentional growth.

My Therapeutic Approach
My work is grounded primarily in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that emphasizes the importance of emotion, attachment, and relationships in psychological well-being. Depending on your needs and treatment goals, I also thoughtfully integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Rather than relying on a single approach for every client, I tailor therapy to the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each individual.
Academic & Professional Background
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Northwest Nazarene University, where my graduate training included supervised individual and group psychotherapy, psychological assessment, clinical interviewing, risk assessment, case conceptualization, and treatment planning across medical, school-based, integrated primary care, and outpatient mental health settings.

Prior to graduate school, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Boise State University, followed by two years of post-baccalaureate pre-medical coursework. This interdisciplinary background has shaped a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to psychotherapy that values careful assessment, clinical curiosity, and individualized care.
